OPEN:EU EUREAPA Tool WorkshopThe One Planet Economy Network was launched at Green Week 2011. After the launch event, the tool development team ran a workshop with many of the attendees.The aim of the workshop was to raise the profile of the the tool with potential users and EUREAPA promoters. In order to engage and enthuse the workshop attendees, a tool demonstration video was produced using the HTML wire frames.The video show-cased the major features of the tool and demonstrated how EUREAPA could be used to answer and model a number of policy questions. Workshop participants split into small groups and worked through a paper questionnaire depicting features of the tool and were asked to give feedback and express preferences about the user interface. The information gathered during this session was used to further inform the development and features of the tool and maximise the potential of the tool to provide policy relevant evidence. The main purpose of the workshop was to begin introducing users to the tool and to be a user engagement session providing feedback that assisted SEI and Isotoma in the final stages of tool development. |
